Treating anxiety, I focus on helping clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that maintain fear and distress. The therapist works with the client to challenge cognitive distortions, gradually face avoided situations through structured exposure, and build coping skills such as relaxation, problem-solving, and mindful awareness. Over time, clients learn to reinterpret anxiety triggers more realistically, reduce avoidance, and regain a sense of control.

Treating depression, I work to help you identify negative thought patterns—such as all-or-nothing thinking, overgeneralization, and self-criticism—and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. I have been trained in the application of CBT to address immediate mental illness symptoms. CBT helps clients understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. By identifying unhelpful thinking patterns and replacing them with balanced alternatives, clients reduce distress.
