My own healing from career and life burnout was what brought me into this profession in the first place. I know first-hand what it's like to be burned out, and I know the way out. There is hope! I love walking with clients through that low valley and helping them find that spark, that desire to climb out of the pit of burnout and get back to enjoying life.
Anxiety manifests itself in unique ways for each individual, and so I work hard to adjust my approach to how each individual client is working through their anxiety. Ultimately, my aim is to develop with my clients a hopeful image of the future. Even while life circumstance continue to be challenging for many clients, we will start building a life that is bound by healthy, realistic positive expectations for what's next.
I spent the first ten years of my professional career working with youth and families through a school-based non-profit program. I then spent the better part of my graduate education developing the skills to serve adolescent clients well, and supporting young people through one of the most difficult seasons of life. My approach is both respectful and gentle as I help adolescent people navigate those turbulent years.
