Inquiry Circle for Doing The Work of Byron Katie

Open for Enrollment
Other Than What You Are Thinking, How Are You Doing Right Now? The Work, also known as Inquiry Based Stress Reduction, is a process of identifying the thoughts that cause suffering, and questioning them to find the peace and opportunity they hide. It can be seen as a cognitive-behavioral technique, or an enhanced form of mindfulness, or a form of Self-Inquiry. Engaging with the questions of The Work can enhance relationships and lead to surprising discoveries about who or what we are!

People who especially benefit from this work:
  • People who journal or meditate and are primed for the next step in healing or discovery.
  • People who are troubled by difficulty in a relationship (with a parent, spouse, child, boss, etc) and want an efficient way to change their distress and communication.
  • People who want to see into their own blind spots and want to learn a gentle, reliable, and supportive way to do so.
  • People who are tired of being angry and would like to learn to use their blame as a guide to discovery, love, and making effective requests.
  • Activists and people concerned about current political situations who would like more inner peace to support them and their outer effectiveness.

In this monthly workshop, participants will receive support in identifying their stressful thoughts, writing them down, and questioning them.

The Work puts us in touch with our own inherent wisdom. All it takes is an open mind.
