About My Clients
I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and symptoms of trauma/PTSD. I also offer parent coaching or family therapy to families who have children with severe mental health struggles, are looking to learn modality-specific coping are wanting to offer support to their loved one going through mental health treatment, or are wanting to improve communication, connection, and empathy with one another.
How I Can Help You
My background is in music therapy and clinical counseling. I collaborate with my clients to explore and navigate their experiences so they can better understand themselves and create effective change. My therapeutic approach is based in client-centered, trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and creative arts. Through these different philosophies, I work with my clients to create more effective coping skills, increase independence, and improve their relationship with themselves. I believe that my clients and I are a team and that my clients are the experts of their life experiences. Together, we create a safe atmosphere that honors vulnerability, trust, and individual creativity.

I believe in creating an accepting, warm, and open environment with my clients. I value authenticity, honesty, and respect in the therapeutic environment. All people deserve a place of safety where they can grow and change at their own pace. It is my honor to be a part of my clients' life journeys.
