About My Clients
I have extensive experience helping immigrants, children of immigrants, and BIPGM (Black, Indigenous, and People of the Global Majority) reaffirm their personal values and show up with confidence in their communities. I work with clients that are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma, and also have extensive training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy working with children ages 0-5 years old.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about fostering healing spaces and comunidad with the goal of creating a more socially-just future. I use an eclectic mix of tools grounded in cognitive behavioral theory, attachment theory, and internal family system theory to help clients reach their goals. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice operates on a generosity and reparations model. My belief is that everyone has an inherent capacity for generosity, and that together we can co-create a thriving community based on values of abundance, trust, and connection, rather than scarcity, fear, and separation. In the spirit of paying it forward, and offering reparations to those communities that have been oppressed by forces of colonization, slavery, racism, and poverty, I encourage my clients to think deeply about their positionality and current financial experience. I encourage my clients to reframe their psychotherapy experience as not only an investment in themselves, but an investment in their community.
