About My Clients
I have worked with diverse clients, each navigating their unique journey towards greater well-being and mental wellness. While I value and respect the inherent worth and dignity of every individual seeking support, there are specific types of clients whom I have developed a particular affinity and preference for working with. These clients are open to exploring their inner world and are willing to delve deeper into their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, empathetic, and client-centered. My background in CBT allows me to help my clients identify and modify negative thought patterns and behaviors that often contribute to their emotional distress. I believe that by challenging these automatic negative thoughts and replacing them with more positive and realistic ones, individuals experience significant improvements in their mental well-being. My understanding and utilization of the internal family systems approach allowed her to work holistically with her clients. IFS operates under the belief that within each person, various parts exist, each with its thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I recognized that my clients' subconscious parts played crucial roles in their emotional and psychological functioning. By helping clients develop a compassionate and non-judgmental relationship with their internal parts, I aim to facilitate healing and promote integration within their internal systems.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I embarked on a journey of exploration with each client, gently guiding them toward self-awareness and self-compassion. I encourage clients to view their thoughts and emotions as valid and deserving of attention, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and validation. Through my empathetic nature, I help clients better understand themselves and the root causes behind their struggles. My ultimate goal is to empower clients by teaching them practical tools and techniques they could use outside of therapy sessions. I emphasized the importance of self-care, setting boundaries, and developing healthy coping mechanisms.
