About My Clients
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. You may be struggling with anxiety, relationship stress, family conflict, life transitions, or feeling weighed down by expectations, shame, or self-doubt. I work with teens and adults who want a safe place to process what they’re going through and begin making meaningful changes in their lives.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and client-centered. I believe my role is to walk alongside you as we explore your experiences and identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected. In our work together, I often incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact emotions and behaviors. I also draw from attachment-based and relational approaches to better understand how past experiences and relationships influence your present challenges. Whether you’re facing everyday stressors or deeper emotional wounds, therapy can help you gain clarity, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier relationships with yourself and others. My hope is that our work together empowers you to move forward with greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For clients who desire it, I am comfortable integrating faith into the counseling process and approaching therapy from a Christian perspective. At the same time, I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and strive to provide culturally sensitive care that honors each person’s values and identity.
