About My Clients
My ideal client may be navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves. They are open to a therapeutic approach that is supportive, direct, and sometimes humorous. I value building a strong, genuine relationship where clients feel safe being themselves while also being challenged to reflect, grow, and make meaningful changes in their lives.
My Background and Approach
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of New England and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a certificate in trauma-informed care. My training helps me provide a supportive and thoughtful space for adults navigating trauma, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I believe the therapeutic relationship is an important part of meaningful change, and my approach is caring, direct, and often laced with humor. My goal is to help you feel understood while also supporting and challenging you as you grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value humor, community, and spending time outside, especially hiking and being in nature. I take a holistic approach to therapy and believe mental health is connected to our relationships, bodies, routines, and environments. I also practice from a Health at Every Size perspective and aim to provide care that is supportive, respectful, and free from judgment about body size.
