About My Clients
Do intrusive thoughts ever show up out of nowhere and refuse to leave? Maybe you find yourself stuck in loops of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, or mental rituals just to get a moment of relief. OCD can feel confusing and isolating, especially when your mind keeps telling you something is wrong even when you know it isn’t. Together, we’ll work on understanding these patterns and building skills that help you respond to them in new, empowering ways.
My Background and Approach
Therapy can be a powerful space to better understand yourself and create meaningful change in your life. I am an Associate Counselor of Mental Health who works with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, and the impact of trauma. I use a trauma-informed and collaborative approach, recognizing how past experiences can influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I strive to support clients in building insight, developing effective coping strategies, and feeling empowered as they move toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that many of the patterns people struggle with developed as ways to cope with difficult experiences. Rather than viewing these responses as flaws, I see them as understandable attempts to manage pain or uncertainty. Therapy can provide the space to understand these patterns, develop new tools, and move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
