About My Clients
I enjoy working with all clients experiencing trauma/PTSD, narcissistic abuse, relationship issues, self-esteem, attachment issues, depression, anxiety. I also enjoy working with 20-somethings through life transitions and identity formation as they navigate through young adulthood.
My Background and Approach
I identify as a holistic, integrative therapist. I utilize a variety of mindfulness, cognitive, somatic and attachment-based techniques that aim to reconnect the mind, body, and spirit. My approach is empathetic, genuine, and client-centered. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is a key component in the healing process; therefore, I am committed to holding a safe, accepting, and nonjudgmental space for you. My areas of focus are PTSD, trauma related to narcissistic abuse, codependency, identity formation, self-esteem issues/self-betrayal, life transitions, and relationship issues. I am a certified clinical trauma counselor, EMDR therapist, and a Ph.D. student in Mind-Body Medicine.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all self-healers and that change is possible. However, I understand how difficult life can be at times and that occasionally, we may feel completely lost or stuck in our current situation. I view therapy as a collaborative journey, where together we can identify goals, work through current obstacles, and develop new skills that will help you in coping with life’s occasional twists. My hope is to guide you in exploring who you truly are and all that you are capable of. I know the courage it took to take this first step, and I look forward to working alongside you through your healing journey!
