I support individuals, couples, and families, including those with ADHD and ASD, in building clarity, confidence, and practical tools for managing everyday stressors, anxiety, depression, mood instabilities and communication.
My Background and Approach
My clients come from all walks of life, often feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. I support individuals, couples, and families, including those with ADHD and ASD, in building clarity, confidence, and practical tools. Our work focuses on understanding patterns, improving daily functioning, and creating change that feels manageable and sustainable. In my work I incorporate CBT, DBT and IFS techniques to increase individuals communication, advocacy, boundaries and overall awareness and understanding of emotions and interpersonal relationships that affect daily functioning and wellbeing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I became a therapist because I understand, up close, what it's like to move through a world that wasn't designed for your brain. My mom, my sister, my niece, and my partner are all neurodiverse. I don't just read about this in textbooks. I live alongside it. I give these strategies to people I love in real time. My practice is based in Meriden, CT, and this community is one I'm genuinely invested in. I'm also open about my own relationship with depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation because I believe honesty is the foundation of trust. My clients don't have to wonder whether I understand what they're carrying. They feel it pretty quickly. What I bring to this work isn't just clinical training. It's a genuine understanding of what it means to see the world differently, and a deep belief that different doesn't mean less capable. It just means we do things a little differently to get to the same place. Either way, we both reach the top floor.
