About My Clients
I do best with clients looking to develop clarity about their internal experiences and the connections between their internal and external worlds. I have the most training and experience with anxiety, neurodivergence, and trauma.
My Background and Approach
Using an approach rooted in Internal Family Systems, I will help you to turn inward to get to know all of the various thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and experiences that are impacting the way you view and interact with yourself and the world around you. In our work together, we will focus on attachment issues, family conflict, trauma, and sensory issues. My ultimate goal is to help you to improve your self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-advocacy skills.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I do my best to live by Buddhist principles of non-attachment, non-violence, and mindfulness. Buddhism also informs the way I see human suffering - I see suffering as an intergenerational cycle of pain that continues to be passed down until someone slows down and cultivates clarity and wisdom around it. I believe that we all have the ability to do this though I also acknowledge that certain human conditions - socioeconomic status, race, neurobiology, gender - can have a significant impact on ones ability to "slow down." On a more personal level, I am an introvert and a highly sensitive person, and this very much impacts the way I interact with the world.
