About My Clients
Uncertainty is not a stop sign. Anxiety and depression can cause you to stop and feel stuck and feel as though you are not enough or not equipped for life. Resulting in a disconnect from self and feelings of unsafety in important relationships. What if I told you that managing anxiety and depression is connected to your relationship with yourself? Therapy opens the door to you discovering yourself in a safe environment that is kind, nurturing, and supportive.
My Background and Approach
Utilizing CBT techniques and developing the 6-keys to a healthy relationship with Me, Myself, and I. I believe you can be the key to your lock as you learn to listen and see yourself first. Finding balance in your authentic self will start by establishing safety, trust, stability, acceptance, patience, and love.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Believing in the power of choice and choosing oneself. As a therapist, I believe therapy allows a freedom of discovery, self-awareness and emotional intelligence by examining the triggers and knowledge of you and the relationship you have with you. Doubt, insecurities, fear, and shame are huge emotions that can derail how you see and show up for yourself. By identifying the triggers and the effects of those triggers on your relationship with you, you can gain power into you. This power can assist you in developing healthy decision-making skills, ways to manage your emotions, and setting and maintaining healthy boundaries. Being a part of the change and healing is an important position I takes very seriously and continue to display in my work in the communities. I currently serve as an Advisory Council member for Region 3 for six counties with DBHDD. Speaker and Educator with the DeKalb and Gwinnett Boards of Health and DBHDD on topics suicide, depression and trauma.
