About My Clients

My clients are thoughtful, resilient individuals and couples who often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. They may be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or relationship challenges, and they come to therapy seeking support, understanding, and change. In our work together, they find a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore their experiences, gain insight, and build coping skills. I help them uncover their strengths, heal past wounds, and reconnect with what matters most.

My Background and Approach

My approach to therapy is flexible, collaborative, and tailored to each person I work with—because no two people’s stories or needs are ever the same. I draw from a strengths-based perspective, using evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT, to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels safe, supportive, and centered on your goals. As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, I was given a strong foundation in both clinical knowledge and human connection—one that continues to shape my work today. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside clients through life’s challenges and witnessing their resilience and growth. Together, we’ll focus on your strengths, uncover new insights, and move toward a place of clarity, healing, and confidence in who you are and where you’re headed.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and create meaningful change, even when life feels difficult or overwhelming. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where clients bring their unique experiences and strengths, and I offer guidance, support, and tools to help them move forward. I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their emotions, reflect on patterns, and feel truly heard and understood. I believe that self-compassion, connection, and curiosity are essential for growth, and that building on existing strengths is often more powerful than focusing solely on problems. My approach combines evidence-based strategies with warmth, empathy, and authenticity, helping clients navigate challenges, build resilience, and live lives that feel more balanced, purposeful, and fulfilling.
