About My Clients
Do you find yourself stuck in the same relationship patterns despite knowing better? Maybe anxiety, trauma, or past experiences continue to show up in your relationships, leaving you feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. I work with couples and young adults who are ready to move beyond insight alone, heal old wounds, strengthen communication, and create more fulfilling connections with themselves and others.
My Background and Approach
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I specialize in helping couples and young adults navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in Satir Experiential Therapy, which means we look beyond symptoms to understand the deeper emotions, experiences, and relationship patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I draw from experiential therapy, Gottman Method, inner child work, somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based approaches to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. Together, we'll explore how past experiences, family dynamics, and unmet emotional needs may continue to influence your present relationships, sense of self, and emotional well-being. Whether you're struggling with relationship conflict, anxiety, emotional disconnection, or wounds from earlier experiences, therapy can help you develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, communication skills, and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in relationship with ourselves, with others, and within the patterns we’ve learned over time. I view therapy as a collaborative process where clients can safely explore emotions, experiences, and relational dynamics that may not have had space elsewhere. My work is grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience and a deep belief in growth, change, and resilience. I am especially passionate about helping people understand how past relationships and family systems continue to shape present-day patterns, and how greater awareness and emotional connection can lead to meaningful change. I strive to create a space that is affirming, inclusive, and compassionate for people of all identities, including LGBTQIA+ individuals and diverse relationship structures. I value authenticity, curiosity, and emotional depth in the therapy room, and I aim to support clients in developing a stronger sense of self, healthier relationships, and more internal safety.
