About My Clients
Do you struggle with anxiety, substance use, overthinking, or feeling “not good enough”? Are you exhausted from trying to manage relationship challenges, parenting stress, or just getting through the day? Many people seek therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of carrying it all alone. In our sessions, I help individuals process trauma, reduce anxiety, build self-confidence, improve relationships, and create healthier coping strategies.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in trauma-informed care, child-parent psychotherapy (CPP), and dual diagnosis support, I bring almost a decade of experience helping individuals and families build resilience and recover from life’s challenges. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, substance use, family stress, parenting struggles, and trauma. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can slow things down, explore patterns, and build tools to create lasting emotional health. My background in CBT, DBT, EFT, and mindfulness means we can personalize your therapy so it truly fits your goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed or simply ready for change, we’ll work together to move you from surviving to thriving.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in relationships—whether that’s the one you have with yourself, your loved ones, or your therapist. My work is grounded in compassion, dignity, and the belief that everyone has the capacity to grow, no matter their starting point. I’m passionate about social justice, equity, and reducing stigma around mental health and substance use. Equity means recognizing the unique barriers people face due to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, and lived experience. I understand that mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it’s shaped by systems, culture, and the challenges of daily survival. That’s why I approach therapy through a person-centered lens, always working to meet you where you are.
