About My Clients
You’re the one who keeps it all together. The work gets done, the kids get where they need to go, people know they can count on you. Inside, your brain never shuts up, your body feels tense or exhausted, and rest doesn’t actually feel restful. You say yes when you’re already maxed out, replay conversations while brushing your teeth, and fall asleep thinking about what you forgot to do. You’re functioning, but it feels like you’re running on caffeine, adrenaline, and sheer willpower.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Wyoming and have extensive experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and trauma—including those who look high-functioning but feel overwhelmed or disconnected inside. I specialize in working with anxious overachievers using EMDR, parts work, and nervous system and somatic-based therapy. I’m calm, direct, and not interested in giving you another checklist to manage. Therapy is personalized to your needs and depends on your goals, because therapy isn’t one size fits all. We focus on steady change that actually sticks. Clients often say sessions feel grounding, productive, and relieving. I listen closely, ask direct questions, and gently call out patterns that keep people stuck. You’ll feel supported, challenged, and less alone, without being pushed faster than your nervous system can handle.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know firsthand what it's like to live in a busy brain and an overworked nervous system. For years I said yes when I meant no, overextended myself trying to be everything to everyone, and kept pushing to accomplish more — until my body finally forced me to stop. That journey led me to develop the skills I now bring to my clients every day: real boundaries, genuine self-prioritization, and the kind of nervous system regulation that creates lasting change. I had to work on myself first so my family and work could benefit too.
