About My Clients
My clients are often deep feelers, caregivers, or creatives carrying more than they should have to. Many come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from themselves. Some are drawn to the animals in our practice; others just need a space where they can breathe and be real. Whether you’re unpacking old wounds or trying to build something new, we meet you with compassion, humor, and honesty.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of a group practice that integrates animal-assisted therapy into trauma-informed care. My approach is warm, relational, and honest—I believe healing happens when you feel safe enough to stop performing and start feeling. I’ve worked with clients navigating complex trauma, anxiety, grief, identity, and caregiving burnout. As a supervisor, I’m deeply invested in creating a space where both clients and therapists feel seen, supported, and grounded in their growth. I believe in collaboration over hierarchy, curiosity over judgment, and building a life that actually fits you. My work blends clinical skill with deep intuition—and occasionally a bit of magic. Therapy with me (or someone on my team) isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about honoring what survived, and helping that part of you finally exhale.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel like an exhale. Like being fully seen without needing to explain yourself. I don’t believe in pathologizing normal responses to overwhelming situations—and I don’t believe healing requires you to be perfect, productive, or put-together. I believe in offering care that is honest, spacious, and deeply human. I think animals have a quiet wisdom that helps us drop our guard, and I believe softness is a strength. I believe therapists deserve support, too, and that when we create spaces where therapists thrive, clients benefit. I believe growth doesn’t have to be flashy to be real, and that your capacity for healing is so much bigger than what’s hurt you. Most of all, I believe you deserve a life that feels like it fits—and that therapy can help you find your way there.
