About My Clients

Maybe you’re feeling stuck, lost, or empty. We are all trying to figure life out one day at a time, and sometimes what used to work really well now seems to fall short. You might have already tried different solutions to address your problems and found that you need something more. What I have to offer is to help you delve deeper into yourself in order to better understand who you are and what you need.

My Background and Approach

With me, you will find acceptance, non-judgement, and support no matter who you are. You are wanted here regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race or religious beliefs. I specialize in working through depression, narcissism, and major life transitions such as relational, vocational, or religious varieties. I also have training and work experience addressing a wide range of human challenges, and offer authentic compassion no matter what you’re going through. My approach to therapy is heavily influenced by relational or psychodynamic psychotherapy, and existential psychotherapy, and countless other techniques and theories I’ve picked up during my two full Master’s degrees totalling 124 full Master’s level credits and countless hours. I would be more than happy to talk more about what these different schools of thought should you desire.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Relational psychotherapy is, in a nutshell, based on the assumption that whatever happens for you relationally outside of therapy will at some point happen within the therapy sessions themselves, between you and me, due to the fact that we are both human beings. Working through our shared relational dynamic can offer a new relational experience which can serve to discover more intentional and authentic encounters in day to day life as well. Meaning, death, freedom, and isolation are the four primary undercurrents of existential psychotherapy. Meaning, life, freedom, and connection are not buzz words for me. I operate with the assumption that we address these four ultimate concerns in our day to day living whether intentionally or unintentionally. The goal of existential psychotherapy is to address the concerns more intentionally, emotionally attuned, and authentically. If that all sounds good to you, then let’s talk.
