My Background and Approach
Hi I'm Olivia Fadul, MS, LPC. I have been practicing since 2011. I practice a client-centered approach when working with my clients. I seek to partner with my client and find the right fit interventions for my clients. I enjoy brainstorming and processing ways of moving forward in their life. I often tell my clients that as they are learning I am learning with them. I seek to provide tools to help my client's transformation. My strength lies in the following types of counseling: Positive psychology, Relational-Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, expressive arts. Specialties: Grief, anxiety, depression, woman issues, microaggression, racial identity, Hard of Hearing, living with disabilities, addiction and recovery, self-esteem, & hard of hearing, adolescents, young adults, stress and burn out, spirituality, work and school stress
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I often wonder how I got lucky to meet so many amazing clients. It has been my honor and my privilege to watch and see their transformation take place. I learn and I emphasize with my clients on their own personal journey. As a child, I often share with my clients how I went through anxiety and depression. I take the approach that if I can transform so can they. As a therapist, I work with each of my clients at their pace and comfort. As we develop trust and a relationship I begin to see my clients heal and transform. I provide practical tools and exercises they can use on a daily basis.
