About My Clients
I work with individuals who are facing difficult thoughts and emotions following a variety of challenging experiences, such as neglect from a parent or other caretaker, being threatened, or being actively harmed by another person. Experiences such as these can contribute to a wide range of obstacles, including difficulties with relationships, self-critical thoughts, disrupted connection with oneself, and feelings of shame. Whatever you may be facing, you do not need to tackle it alone.
My Background and Approach
We can explore your past to better understand where you are coming from and help address your present concerns. I will strive to create a space where you can feel safe being open about your thoughts and feelings, while also helping you to challenge current thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve you. I am particularly passionate about helping clients address trauma-related concerns. Often, trauma can contribute to feeling stuck in the past; however, change is possible. It can be quite challenging at times, but you are capable of developing new skills to navigate relationships, reconnecting with and loving yourself, and moving into a future you deserve.
