Can you imagine how many things you have heard from other people about who you are and who you are supposed to be? Ever since you were a tiny kid it has been happening. Now you keep those beliefs alive by telling yourself that you're not good enough. You may fear people don't like you or that you won't be successful enough. Couldn't your doubts and worries be wrong? My Background and Approach
I have extensive experience helping people overcome anxiety, improve self-esteem/self-confidence, have better relationships, and improve mood so that you can enjoy yourself and live a fulfilling life. My work with you is guided by studied therapy models (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness) as well as my own experiences. I have discovered a lot by studying personal experience. I can provide you with techniques to relieve symptoms more quickly, as well as help you understand causes of problems so that you don't even need the techniques as much. I will guide you to strengthen trust in yourself and your talents.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the true version of yourself, if allowed to fully present itself, is a wonderful and necessary part of this planet. I am a strong believer that your therapist needs to be a good fit for you. If you find yourself meeting with a therapist that you don't like, then you have to get a different one!
