About My Clients
You’re done pretending everything’s fine. Whether you’re a teen or adult, anxiety, grief, burnout, or trauma might have you stuck—and the usual coping just isn’t cutting it anymore. You want a therapist who’s real, who listens without judgment, but also calls you out and helps you push forward. You’re not afraid of hard conversations—you just want them to be worth it. You’re ready to face the truth, feel the feels, and do the work.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed therapist in WA, MD, DE, and IA, working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD, depression, and life transitions. I’ve used evidence-based practices like CBT, TF-CBT, ERP, and trauma-informed care throughout my career to help people get unstuck and reconnect with their truth. Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and direct—I won’t just nod and ask how that makes you feel. I’ll meet you where you’re at, help you name what’s going on, and challenge you when needed. I also provide clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians looking to grow their skills with honesty, support, and structure. Whether you’re walking into therapy in survival mode or ready for real change, I’m here to walk beside you with clarity and guts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be real—not sugarcoated, not performative, and definitely not shame-based. I don’t judge where you’ve been, what you’re feeling, or how you’re coping. You don’t have to censor yourself with me. I show up with honesty, curiosity, and respect for your lived experience. I believe people do the best they can with what they’ve got, and healing starts when we stop pretending and start telling the truth. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just be willing to show up and be real. I’m not here to fix you; I’m here to help you reconnect with your gut instincts, build insight, and move forward on your terms. Whether you’re angry, numb, lost, or just tired of carrying it all, you’re welcome in the room exactly as you are.
