About My Clients
I work with teens and adults for whom traditional talk therapy has not been effective. Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or relapse despite years of insight and effort. My approach goes beyond talking by using EMDR and integrative, body-based methods to calm the nervous system, reprocess experiences, and create real, lasting change. The focus is on healing, regulation, and forward movement—not just managing symptoms.
My Background and Approach
My background is rooted in clinical social work with a strong focus on trauma, addiction, and nervous system healing. I work with teens and adults who have often tried traditional talk therapy without lasting results and are ready for a deeper, more effective approach. My work is grounded in EMDR therapy and supported by neurofeedback, vibroacoustic therapy (VAT), mindfulness, and mindful movement to help regulate the nervous system and promote lasting change. I take a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach and tailor treatment to each client’s goals, history, and pace. Sessions focus on building safety, awareness, and regulation before moving into targeted trauma processing and skill-building. By integrating brain-based, body-based, and mindfulness practices, clients are supported in reconnecting with themselves in a way that feels grounded and sustainable. The goal is not just symptom reduction, but meaningful transformation—helping clients feel more stable, resilient, and empowered
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is possible when the mind, body, and nervous system are supported together in a safe, compassionate, and intentional way. True change goes beyond insight alone and requires creating a sense of safety in the body, not just understanding the story. I believe people are not broken, but adapted to what they have lived through, and that symptoms are signals rather than flaws. My approach is grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience and inner wisdom. I believe therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and paced to the client, not forced or rushed. Healing happens when clients feel seen, regulated, and supported while learning to reconnect with themselves. Growth is not about perfection, but about building resilience, self-trust, and the ability to move forward with clarity, purpose, and self-compassion.
