About My Clients
I provide in person and virtual counseling for adolescents, young adults, and adults in private practice who struggle with various issues; including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress management, adjustment disorders, emotion regulation, impulse control and ADHD, and health issues. I also have experience working with young adults struggling with addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders in various local treatment centers.
My Background and Approach
My love for health is what brought me to the field as a health and nutrition coach over ten years ago. My speciality is incorporating EMDR and holistic therapies into therapy to help clients increase self awareness and acceptance, overcome negative beliefs , and feel more empowered. In addition to counseling, I have extensive training and expertise teaching meditation, mindfulness, and yoga in various studios, treatment and alternative health centers, and privately in the local community. I often implement somatic therapy techniques depending upon each client's unique needs, to deepen their mind body connection. My style is heart centered and compassionate, and I love sharing practical tools that help clients of any age connect to their strengths, individual potential ,and confidence to confront their challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Having experience as a parent of a child with ADHD and anxiety, I am passionate about educating and supporting parents and families in managing the emotional, social, and behavioral challenges that co-occur with these conditions .
