About My Clients
Good for you – reaching out is scary. I work with people that express frustration over feeling anxious all the time. How annoyed they are that they can't shut their brain off and hate how much they over think everything. Sometimes things in life happen that are no fault of your own. But now you’re dealing with the consequences, and these things still seem as if they have a grip on you, coming up randomly/unexpectedly. It's exhausting. I get it - and it sucks.
My Background and Approach
We'll look at how your thoughts and behavior impact your emotions. Let's work together, to explore what your obstacles are, and ways to help you discover your best you. I believe in working together to solve problems in order to help you overcome the difficulties in your life. While I believe therapy is work for both parties, I understand you will be doing the heavy lifting. I will be here to support you and be your cheerleader. I’m interested in learning about your experiences, your challenges and the things which bring you joy. I want to help you become your own therapist, be aware of what you do and why you do it. I am also trained in EMDR, which has been beneficial in trauma, anxiety, panic and OCD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being first generation of immigrant parents, I know the struggle of respecting your heritage while trying to be genuine. People are now living their authentic life and more often than not, it's not welcome at times. I see you, and you are welcome here.
