About My Clients
I like to work with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and orientations. I provide a safe and respectful space, and I am always eager to learn from my clients. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation, so you may ask all your questions, and find out if we are a good fit. My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist in Miami, Florida. I obtained my doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University and have been working as a licensed psychologist for the past 8 years. I have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. One of my areas of interest is helping individuals with chronic illness or pain, and the subsequent emotional distress that comes from their health condition.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The most important factor, and the best predictor of success in therapy, is the therapeutic relationship, that is the relationship between therapist and client/patient. I believe that what you bring to therapy is what's important to you, so I will meet you where you are and assist you in your search for answers. I strive to always be respectful of my client's beliefs, and to understand what matters to you. On a side note, I love animals and have too many! I really appreciate the role that animals play in people's lives.
