Whether you're experiencing grief or loss, trauma or anxiety, a major life transition or event, or just getting to a point where something isn't working, you deserve a space where you can be heard, supported and encouraged.
My Background and Approach
This is a space for you, your goals, feelings and experience to be carefully explored with a thoughtful, non-judgmental outside perspective and ally on your side. With a collaborative and culturally sensitive lens, I incorporate mindfulness, CBT and EMDR to facilitate awareness, growth and healing. With additional training from Postpartum Support International and years of experience working with grief, I am here to sit with you if you’re on a journey of loss, birth or parenthood, and to move with you towards hope. My goal is to build a foundation of trust and safety, which starts before our first session. I offer free 20 minute consultation calls so we can get to know each other and you can feel confident and informed in your decision to work together. If it isn't a good fit, I'll share some ideas and options based on what you're looking for. I can't wait to meet you!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves support to get through life's challenges and that they have the capability to grow, heal and make changes. Life is hard enough, and it's never too late to try something new and get some help from someone who won't judge you or give you advice you don't want. I love being an ally and support for folx in facilitating an experience that's focused solely on you and your needs - not your family, your partner or your kids. If it's your first time in therapy or not, let's start fresh. I'll get to know you, your history, your strengths and your struggles by listening, asking questions, and understanding what's worked and what hasn't. We'll collaborate on finding ways to help you cope and trying new things at a pace that works for you, so you can live a full and vibrant life with confidence and the tools to thrive.
