I am a therapist because I love hearing peoples’ stories and witnessing their “ah-ha” moments as they learn more about themselves.

About My Clients

Have you been getting stuck in your own head more and more? Do you ever feel like you're not enough? Or too much? Are feeling frustrated with things that feel out of your control, or with how long it is taking to heal from the past? I am here to as a guide to help you gain a deeper self-understanding, along with the confidence and tools to make the change you want to see in your life.

My Background and Approach

I have skills working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness meditation, and Internal Family Systems. While we can use any or all of these as needed, what I have found in my practice is that what is most effective to healing is the therapeutic relationship—that you feel comfortable opening up to me and learning about yourself with me. My aim is that we build trust, and I earn that trust through actively listening to you and learning to support your goals in your internal and external worlds. At the end of the session, my hope is that while you might not feel better right away, you feel seen, supported, and a little closer to achieving the goals that brought you there in the first place. I am a mixed-race queer woman and practice from Multicultural, Feminist, and affirming perspectives. I also offer Emotional Support Animal Assessments because I believe people with disabilities should have equitable access to their dwellings.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe we are the experts in our own experiences, and that you know yourself and your own path of healing and mental health better than anyone else. I practice from gender and sexuality affirming frameworks, which I believe are essential to supporting the wellness of queer and trans communities. In tandem with this, I am committed to working with communities of color, as they deserve to be supported and seen for the reality of their experiences in our society. I do my best to educate myself on areas where I am ignorant or hold biases, so you aren’t in the position to have to educate me and so that I don’t replicate harm that so often happens outside of the therapy room.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
