About My Clients

Has your stress and anxiety become intolerable that it is preventing you from enjoying the present? I specialize in helping those who struggle with anxiety disorders, self-esteem issues and depression learn to better understand themselves and what they need to live in alignment with their values and the life they want. It is so important to learn how to calm the mind, live more fully in the present and have a space to feel supported and this is what I strive to provide for those I work with.

My Background and Approach

Kimberly is currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kimberly has experience working as a psychotherapist serving adults, teens, children, and families living with severe and chronic mental illness. She has worked in residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient based settings. Kimberly received training at Harvard University’s McLean Hospital in DBT prior to attending graduate school. Kimberly is intensively trained by Behavioral Tech in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She is also a certificate mindfulness coach, yoga instructor and breathwork facilitator. As a therapist use Kimberly uses her experience and in-depth training with Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help client gain clarity on what they want and on what’s getting in the way of reaching their goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Many of us hit points where we confront injuries from our past or roadblocks in the present that feel too difficult to confront. These roadblocks interfere with being able to experience joy or move towards our definition of a life worth living. Sometimes our thoughts and emotions can become so unmanageable that we forget where we are trying to go, or they cause us to lose confidence in our ability to reach certain goals. If you are struggling with managing anxiety and pain, calming your mind, regaining control of your emotions, finding joy in the present, building self-esteem and better relationships, or removing barriers towards the life that you want then you are not alone. Many of us hit a point where we need support and asking for help can be really challenging because we have been conditioned to believe that getting help makes us weak, I believe asking for help is one of the strongest things we can do!
