About My Clients

My clients are BRAVE and willing to dive deep into emotions they my be afraid to change. Many of my clients are queer across the spectrum. Many of my patients experience overthinking, poor sleep, and overwhelm. My patients are doing the best they can AND know that they need to make changes with themselves to live a better life.

My Background and Approach

My expertise includes anxiety, feeling blah (depressed), overthinking, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and suicidal thoughts. I believe the mind and body are interconnected and that taking care of ourselves is vital for your wellness. My practice is integrative - and not one a one-size fits all approach to therapy. In therapy we work on relationship building, skill instruction, insight building of unhealthy patterns of behavior, and making changes to feel better. I use both relational and evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness that emphasizes trust, safety, and the therapeutic relationship. My clients find that therapy helps bring ease and improved quality of life based on their values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My practice is culturally informed, gender-affirmative, and considers how systematic injustice and oppression interferes with mental health and well being. As a therapist it is my priority to create a safe place to address experiences of racism and microaggression on your own terms. We are all interconnected and I strive to understand the complex intersection of your experiences from a systems level lens. I believe the bravest and hardest step is to ask for therapy and I am here as the supportive base to get you through challenging times.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
