About My Clients
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and low self-esteem. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or emotional overwhelm. I also support military service members, veterans, and their families. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing is possible. I work with adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship challenges, and life transitions, helping them understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we'll explore how past experiences continue to influence your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and sense of self today. As a trauma-informed therapist trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, I help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms. We'll work to identify triggers, strengthen coping skills, regulate overwhelming emotions, and process experiences that may still be affecting your daily life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, emotionally balanced, and connected to yourself and others. Together, we'll build practical tools and lasting strategies that support healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens when people feel safe enough to be seen, heard, and understood without judgment. Many of the struggles people experience anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, or emotional overwhelm are not signs of weakness. Often, they are adaptive responses to difficult experiences, stress, trauma, or environments where a person had to learn how to survive. I don't believe that people are broken. I believe that many of the patterns that once helped us cope can eventually outlive their usefulness and begin to interfere with the life we want to live. The good news is that our brains and nervous systems are capable of change throughout our lives. My role is not to tell you who you should be, but to help you better understand yourself, process experiences that may still be affecting you, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.I am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive space for all.
