About My Clients

I work with high-functioning adults who appear capable on the outside but privately feel burned out, restless, or disconnected. Many work in creative or performance-driven environments where ideas are monetized and output is evaluated. Often these are people others rely on to keep things moving, who tend to prioritize others over themselves. Over time that pressure can lead to anxiety or feeling out of alignment. Together we slow things down and reconnect with clarity and self-trust.

My Background and Approach

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 17 years in creative production and advertising. I understand how creativity becomes your livelihood and identity becomes tied to performance, and how hard it can be to slow down when your sense of value feels connected to what you produce. Many I work with are thoughtful individuals in demanding environments. Over time that pace can make it difficult to pause and examine patterns shaping decisions and self-perception. My approach is depth-oriented, relational, and mindfulness-informed. Sessions are conversational rather than structured. You do not need to arrive with an agenda or a clear answer. We begin with whatever feels most present and explore from there. Together we explore the stories you carry about yourself and roles learned in relationships, and how those experiences shape present choices. Therapy includes emotional processing and awareness of how experiences live in the body. The goal is clarity, alignment, and self-trust.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be a space where people do not have to perform competence, composure, or certainty. In many high-performance environments there is little room for doubt or vulnerability. People learn to keep functioning even when something internally feels off. Therapy can soften that pressure and create space for honest conversation. As a Black male therapist, I am attentive to how race, masculinity, and expectations around strength shape the pressures people carry. For many Black men there are few spaces where struggle can be spoken about openly. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, curious, and respectful of people’s lives. My role is not to fix you but to support understanding and new possibilities. Over time the work becomes less about expectations and more about living in alignment with your values.
