I have been treating sexual abuse in children and sexual assault for the last ten years. I have extensive training in the treatment of trauma and PTSD in children, teens, and adults, and I have given presentations and training to staff in social services, police, and medical/mental health workers.

I treat both parents in the pregnancy and postpartum period - dads can have postpartum depression, too! I have advanced training in perinatal mental health and infant mental health, and I administer attachment assessments for both parent-infant relationships and romantic relationships, especially for new parents.

If everything is trauma, then nothing is trauma. I am nationally-certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children. I also use psychoanalytic psychotherapy, an evidence based approach in treating complex PTSD, in adults. Many therapists claim to be trained in trauma work or "trauma-informed" care, but I've had so many patients tell me they previously saw a therapist who claimed to be a trauma specialist - and wasn't. This is my specialty.

Trauma therapy is my specialty, and I train clinicians and other staff members in trauma and PTSD treatment for children and adults. I specialize in child sexual abuse, sexual assault, trauma from relationships, and childhood trauma.

I have been training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy for the past ten years with military service members, veterans, and adults.

I am an expert on attachment theory and romantic relationships, the topic of my dissertation. I specialize in attachment assessments for parent-child relationships, adults, and adult romantic relationships.
