About My Clients
I work with individuals who want to feel more in control of their eating patterns and more comfortable in their bodies. My clients often struggle with patterns of emotional eating, over-eating, chronic dieting, or difficulty prioritizing meals throughout the day. I provide a compassionate, collaborative space for my clients to heal their relationship with food and more aligned in their bodies.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach promotes connection, curiosity, and self-compassion as a pathway towards healing and clarity. My hope for each client that I work with is that they can begin to explore their symptoms with a sense of compassion, and in doing so begin to understand their own stories from a place of strength and empowerment. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, I will help you challenge negative thoughts around food, build tools to create a healthier relationship with eating, and become more attuned to the needs of your body. My goal is to help you create lasting, positive change to move away from cycles of disordered eating behaviors and toward a life of balance, health, and well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people heal best when they have access to a space where they are seen, heard, and able to be their authentic selves. I welcome and affirm all bodies, identities, and relationships in my practice. When you work with me, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment that emphasizes your own self-determination and personal strengths. I look forward to working with you as you explore what it means for you to authentically take up space in the world around you.
