About My Clients
You're managing persistent anxiety that impacts daily functioning—racing thoughts, constant worry, physical tension. Social situations feel draining or overwhelming, whether at work, in relationships, or during everyday interactions. You may avoid situations that trigger anxiety, or push through while feeling exhausted afterward. Stress has become your baseline. You're navigating performance pressure, interpersonal challenges, or life transitions while anxiety amplifies every obstacle.
My Background and Approach
I bring a diverse toolkit to our work together, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic approaches. My goal is to equip you with practical strategies you can use immediately—techniques for managing racing thoughts, calming your nervous system, and navigating social situations with confidence. My approach is direct and collaborative. We'll start with what's bothering you right now—whether that's panic attacks, social anxiety, or chronic stress—and build skills to address it. I've spent my career working with adults facing anxiety, trauma, and the pressures that come with high expectations. Since earning my MA in Mental Health Counseling from NYU in 2021, I've worked in diverse settings—from crisis intervention to supporting professionals. I completed intensive DBT training and use evidence-based techniques to help you build resilience and lasting emotional balance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe deeply in every person's right to live authentically and with self-respect. Throughout my career, I've worked with incredibly diverse communities—foster care youth, LGBTQ+ individuals, immigrants, homeless populations, teachers, and professionals. Each person I've worked with has taught me something valuable about resilience and what it means to be human. What drives my work is genuine curiosity about people and their stories. I view therapy as an art form—constantly evolving, deeply creative, and uniquely collaborative. This creative spirit shows up everywhere in my life: playing guitar, cooking, and crafting cocktails. I'm married to an immigrant and passionate about advocacy for immigrant communities. Outside the office, I play street hockey across NYC leagues. I'm an extrovert who brings that energy into sessions while practicing what I preach: sleep, exercise, healthy eating, and meaningful connections.
