About My Clients
Many of my clients are high-functioning adults who appear successful on the outside but feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in painful relationship patterns. You may carry a persistent sense of being defective, invisible, or easily abandoned. Even when life looks stable, unresolved trauma can quietly shape how you feel, react, and relate to others. Using EMDR and Brainspotting, we work together to process those experiences so you can move forward with more clarity and stability.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, panic, and the lingering effects of unresolved trauma. Many people notice that even years after difficult experiences, memories, physical sensations, or emotional reactions continue to surface and interfere with daily life. In our work together, we explore how past experiences connect to what you are feeling in the present. I help clients understand how the brain and nervous system respond when something overwhelming happens and why those responses can persist long after the event is over. Using trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR and Brainspotting, we process experiences that remain stored in the nervous system. As these memories are processed, many clients begin to experience less reactivity, more emotional stability, and a greater sense of control over their lives. Alongside this work, I also focus on helping clients feel more grounded and supported in the present.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with understanding how the brain and body respond to trauma and stress. When people learn how their nervous system has adapted to overwhelming experiences, many reactions that once felt confusing or frustrating begin to make sense. Humans are wired for connection, and supportive relationships play an important role in healing. Trauma can disrupt our sense of safety with ourselves and others, but with the right support the nervous system can relearn safety and stability. My work is grounded in the belief that people already carry the capacity to heal. Therapies such as EMDR and Brainspotting allow the brain to process experiences that were never fully resolved so the past no longer drives the present. When people heal, it often creates meaningful change not only in their own lives but also in their relationships and families.
