About My Clients
You may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from yourself or your future. You might be living with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, or chronic pain, and feel worn down by ongoing pressure, uncertainty, or self-criticism. Many people I work with are navigating life transitions—career changes, relationship shifts, questions of meaning or authenticity—and want to feel more grounded and at ease. I focus on supporting a safer relationship with your body and inner experience.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in somatic and mindfulness-based psychotherapy, informed by Hakomi principles and parts-oriented work. I also draw on a background in coaching to support practical change when appropriate. I work with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, and life transitions related to identity and meaning. Treatment focuses on building emotional and physical regulation and developing practical ways to relate differently to difficult thoughts, feelings, and patterns. People experience greater stability, clarity, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves. Our work is collaborative, respectful, and paced to what feels manageable for you. I draw from person-centered, existential, somatic, mindfulness-based, and parts-oriented approaches. Sessions focus on increasing awareness of emotional and bodily patterns, supporting nervous system regulation, and offering support for real-life challenges and transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is honest, collaborative, and paced according to the nervous system—not urgency or external expectations. People are not broken, but many are living with patterns shaped by stress, trauma, and long-term adaptation. I believe meaningful change does not come from forcing insight or fixing symptoms, but from building safety, awareness, and trust in one’s own experience. Questions, doubt, and ambivalence are a natural part of the process and are welcome in the therapeutic space. At the same time, therapy requires engagement and willingness to stay present with what emerges, even when it feels uncomfortable or unclear. My role is not to direct or rescue, but to offer a steady, attuned relationship where clients can explore their inner world and move toward change that is authentic and sustainable.
