I honor many paths and celebrate the diversity that each being brings into the healing process. If you want to explore your sense of self and others and heal wounds to become who you are. Focusing on uplifting and giving gender-affirming and sexuality-affirming care to children and adults. My clients are looking to have their sexuality and gender expression honored, and centered. Families of trans/nonbinary youth are welcome in a loving and safe environment.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Pike brings over 20 years of nature-centered and LGBTQ+ grassroots collective awareness to healing space. They honor the DEIPAR (Diversity, Equity, Intersectionality, Inclusion, Power analysis, and Anti-racism) framework to center transformative and healing practice. Dr. Grant Pike is a scholar-practitioner who brings over 20 years of earth-centered and LGBTQ grassroots collective awareness to healing space. Having a love for the earth and the sacredness of life, Dr. Pike firmly believes in social justice that extends beyond humans. The understanding that to be genuinely socially just and to honor the larger world around us has led them to the practice of social work. Having spent over 15 years in the mental/behavioral health field, Dr. Pike has experience with the homeless, residential/group homes, community mental health, community health, and medical. In 2022, the solo private practice, Shining Oak Wellness, LLC, focused on psychotherapy and had a greater connection to clients.
