About My Clients
I work primarily with women who are navigating the effects of trauma, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm. Many of the clients I see are highly capable people who feel stuck in cycles of intense emotions, relationship difficulties, or patterns that no longer serve them. They may be struggling with anxiety, mood instability, burnout, or the lasting impact of past experiences.
My Background and Approach
I am a compassionate therapist specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), helping clients build balance, resilience, and emotional clarity. Grounded in warmth and authenticity, I prioritize strong rapport and genuine validation to create a safe, collaborative space for growth. My approach blends evidence-based DBT techniques with an intuitive understanding of each client’s unique experiences, empowering them to develop skills, strengthen relationships, and move toward a more fulfilling life. Clients can expect a warm welcoming environment that is their space to learn, grow, and express themselves in a safe non-judgemental space. I have over 20 years experience in the mental health field and 15 years experience in private practice. I have also spent my entire post-graduate career on DBT skill development as a clinician.

I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in genuine connection, compassion, and respect. Creating a warm, non-judgmental environment is central to my work so that clients feel safe enough to explore their experiences openly. My approach is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and informed by more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including 15 years in private practice. Throughout my career, I have focused on helping people develop the practical skills needed to navigate difficult emotions while building self-understanding and self-acceptance. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel both supported and empowered. In therapy, my goal is to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.
