About My Clients
I work with adult clients who are seeking to better understand themselves. Many clients enter the assessment process with questions about a certain diagnosis, or just want to know how to make life more manageable. I can help you find answers to your specific questions-- in the context of the "big picture" of who you are are as a whole, complex individual. In terms of diagnoses, I have experience working with disorders related to depression, mania, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and psychosis.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with individuals of a wide range of ages, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns in various settings. From private practice to outpatient care with veterans at the VA Medical Center, to long-term inpatient care, I have found that psychological assessment is an invaluable tool for helping an individual find relief from their mental health difficulties and determine what will help them to become the best version of themselves. I aim to make the assessment process as transparent and collaborative as possible and will work to ensure your questions are answered in a way that is both thorough and easily understandable. I have experience in psychological assessment related to questions about intellectual and learning ability, psychological diagnosis, and neuropsychological functioning.
