About My Clients

Has a past experience, trauma or difficult relationship prevented you from growing into the best version of yourself? Do you tell yourself negative beliefs or are you repeating patterns that you hope to break? We often are “stuck” in the past, allowing it to shape the present, clouding our future. I’m here to help you break unhealthy habits that have manifested from trauma or difficult emotional experiences. We're all deserving of love, healing, growth, and together we’ll help you obtain these.

My Background and Approach

I have experience working in treatment centers with folks struggling with addiction as a result of coping to overcome their trauma or life stressors. I’ve also worked in community mental health with folks who have immigrated to CA or are first-generation children unpacking their mental health struggles for the first time. These two areas have provided me the privilege to assist folks who have struggled with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief, generational trauma, relational challenges, gender exploration, and identity confusion. I am a person-centered therapist utilizing EMDR therapy, TF-CBT, DBT, and SFT. I make efforts to use an eclectic approach with folks I work with to give you an individualistic therapeutic experience. Regardless of the presenting issue or therapy modality, I will always want to provide you with warmth, respect, and the upmost acceptance.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a first-generation Latinx that understands the impacts of generational when it becomes unresolved and manifests into your identity or relationship. Mental health is just as important as physical health and to address both of them allows for a healthy life balance. I believe that a therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy so that it can promote comfortability in for vulnerability, honesty, and trust during session. The process of therapy is truly a beautiful experience and to be able to support folks of any cultural, LGBTQ+, or other background is a privilege.
