My Background and Approach
As a therapist my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and help you move toward a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present. I believe that my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present. Working from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, we will work together to reach beyond your suffering to the larger purpose of your life and helping you get active in really living. ACT is centered on such questions as “What do you really want your life to be about?” and “If you lived in a world where you could have your life be about anything, what would it be?”
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a deeply relational and values-driven therapist who believes in creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and accepted as they are. I care about providing inclusive, affirming support to individuals from all walks of life, and I strive to meet each client with warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity. Outside of my work as a psychologist, I’m a mom, a reader, and someone who finds meaning in creativity and connection. I believe that healing happens through relationship, and it’s a privilege to walk alongside people as they grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves.
