About My Clients
We would love to work with you to help heal from trauma, improve self-esteem, reduce anxiety, relax and cope with stress, and learn to better control anger. Healing Waters is bilingual and bicultural in English, Spanish. We support clients of all ethnic groups, sexual orientations, religions, and do not discriminate against anyone. We work to support clients with trauma histories to find healing and overcome things in their past that may be holding them back.
My Background and Approach
We often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to find and change negative thought patterns which affect feelings and behaviors in daily life. We also teach and use relaxation techniques and coping skills which help improve functioning and deal with stressors on a regular basis. We have therapists trained in two trauma treatment models: EMDR and TF-CBT.
