Parenting doesn’t come with a road map and at times can be stressful. If you are unsure where to turn for help, Dr. Jennifer provides an affirming skillset for neurodiverse children/teens/families with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Dyslexia & other learning differences. Dr. Jennifer helps equip the child with DBT skills to help with mindfulness, distress tolerance & emotional regulation. Also assisting with transitions, executive function, demand anxiety, family meals, stress and dysregulation at home.
My Background and Approach
With over 10 years of experience in mental health & parent/child relationship-based psychotherapy, Dr. Jennifer provides children/teens/families executive function helpers for: Autistic/ADHD burn out tools, strategies for AM & PM routine difficulties, helpers for dinner table woes & sensory and emotional storms, and Neurodivergent (Autism Spectrum Disorder & ADHD) depression and coping skills. Dr. Jennifer provides a safe therapeutic space for the neurodiverse child & family to work on emotional regulation techniques, executive function skills, intrinsic motivation, open communication, temper expectations and how to address frequent flyer situations such as morning routines & bed time transitions. While using FBT, CBT & Neurodiverse Psychotherapy.
