About My Clients
If you are living with a chronic medical condition, you may be apprehensive about the future or concerned about how this condition will affect significant aspects of your life. Alternatively, you may have accepted the diagnosis but have observed a personality change that influences your outlook and coping mechanisms.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, and Certified Case Manager, I have intentionally chosen to work in diverse settings, ranging from domestic to international, with varying levels of care and across the lifespan of individuals. My tools are tailored to a diverse clientele, but after 25 years of experience, I have refined them further to address the complexities of chronic medical conditions. I create a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your experiences. My objective is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your perspective to develop an individualized treatment plan and collaborate effectively. My approach is person-centered and strength-based, incorporating elements of humor to foster a positive and supportive environment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that we all share common needs and aspirations, yet I acknowledge that our individual life experiences give rise to distinct challenges. Furthermore, I hold the conviction that we all possess unique traits, abilities, and talents that serve as our means to attain our desired outcomes.
