My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in the belief that your "symptoms"—the rage, the numbness, the anxiety—actually make a lot of sense given the pressure you’re under. I specialize in the intersection of Perinatal Mental Health, Trauma, and Sexual Wellness. We go beyond standard talk therapy by focusing on two pillars: the nervous system, using brainspotting or somatic tools and the stories you have internalized about yourself over time. I am a Brainspotting practitioner and a certified perinatal mental health specialist. My goal is to help you stop simply "surviving" your life and start reclaiming your body, your desire, and your identity beyond motherhood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that a healthy mother is more important than a "perfect" one. I am deeply committed to a trauma-informed, sex-positive, and shame-resilient lens of therapy. I have a particular heart for those navigating religious deconstruction alongside parenthood—processing the guilt and shame of "purity culture" or rigid upbringing while trying to raise their own children with more freedom. I believe that reclaiming your sexual wellness and pleasure is a vital part of maternal health, not an afterthought. When I’m not in the "therapy room," I’m navigating the same parenting rhythms as you—dealing with the work, kids' schedules and finding the quiet moments in the chaos. I’m a human first, a therapist second, and I show up to our sessions with warmth, humor, and zero judgment.
