About My Clients
I work best with thoughtful, reflective individuals who may feel anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift. Many appear high-functioning but struggle internally with self-criticism or uncertainty. I also work with parents seeking a deeper understanding of their child’s emotional and developmental needs beyond surface-level strategies. I bring a background in neuropsychological and psycho-educational assessment to inform this work when helpful.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed psychologist with doctoral-level training in clinical psychology, and have experience across school, hospital, and outpatient settings. My work includes both psychotherapy and comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, which allows me to think carefully about patterns in attention, learning, and emotional functioning. In therapy, I draw from developmental and relational approaches, helping clients understand how earlier experiences shape current patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships. This often supports a deeper sense of clarity, self-understanding, and flexibility over time. I have particular experience working with anxiety, self-criticism, life transitions, and parenting concerns, including supporting parents in understanding their child’s emotional and developmental needs in a more nuanced and connected way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value creating a space that feels steady, respectful, and genuinely collaborative. I am drawn to work that honors complexity rather than reducing people to symptoms or quick solutions. I approach both adults and children with curiosity and care, and aim to be thoughtful and affirming of the many ways identity, culture, and lived experience shape how we move through the world. My work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes through understanding, not pressure, and that therapy should feel like a place where you can think, reflect, and feel met over time.
