With an eclectic style of therapy using client-centered, CPT, CBT, DBT, &/or Family Systems, we can specifically tailor goals & objectives to your specific needs which will help you reduce anxiety & sadness while increasing your overall happiness.
My Background and Approach
I provide a safe & nonjudgmental environment for you to feel comfortable opening up in our meetings. I’ve been perfecting tools and techniques for you to effectively & discretely combat your anxieties and sadness. Together we will create a specific, tailored just for you, a list of tools for you to carry with you anywhere & anytime you’re experiencing emotional distress. We will start therapy by ID/processing your presenting issues, family history, & and relationship dynamics. Then I’ll educate you about our basic emotions, primary emotions, and the “job” of emotions, the physical sensations of those emotions, and we’ll discuss what’s going on in the moment and how to gain control of your body and emotions. My role is to listen, empathize, & help you learn how to ID/process your own thoughts, emotions, & behaviors so you can build resiliency & do this on your own some day without me.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we have the ability to reach infinite possibilities. I do not discriminate, I do not judge. I have experience working at an inpatient facility with at risk youth. And I’m just really looking forward to meeting with you!
