About My Clients
I am passionate about working with kids, teens, and young adults who may be struggling with low self-esteem, feeling stuck, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation and awareness, and other issues. In therapy, I offer a supportive and collaborative space where clients can build confidence, increase self-awareness, and develop skills that support meaningful growth.
My Background and Approach
I earned my BA and Master of Science in Social Work here in Louisville, KY at UofL. Since 2021, I have gained my experience in nonprofit community program & resource settings, pediatric outpatient clinics, nonprofit therapeutic outpatient clinics, and in the school system providing therapeutic services and collaboration. I pull various techniques from modalities to fit each need, mainly drawing from CBT, somatic work, art, expressive, play style, humanistic, and more. I have experience with body image related issues and work with eating disorders. I am working towards more education and training in this area for the future as I truly believe everyone is deserving of accessible care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I am not working, I enjoy the outdoors, get in local parks, spend time with my dog, and try new things. I enjoy exercise and yoga/stretching, dabbling in new hobbies and artistic avenues, hanging with family and friends, and researching stuff. I love to visit the libraries and their free activities also. Making new connections and learning things means the fun never ends!
